How do I send feedback directly to Pottermore?

Question by Emily: How do I send feedback directly to Pottermore?
I’m trying to find out how I could send feedback to pottermore. I have seen a lot of requests TO pottermore; here are some examples:
Needs for sound effects/music,
a chat system,
Being able to explore the castle,
be able to sell things for galleons,
a reply button,
Being able to play Quidditch for some house points,
being able to brew different potions at a time, using different cauldrons
etc. etc.
Now, who knows where I could SEND some feedback?! Thank you! -Emily

They don’t list an email address on the site, but if you’d like to contact them you can go to www.pottermore.com. At the bottom of the page click where it says help, then click “other”, then click “What’s Next” & finally click on “Need More Help”. That will open up a form that you can use to contact Pottermore.

If you really wanted to, you could also contact them by mail at the following address:
Pottermore Limited
Devonshire House
1 Devonshire Street
London W1W 5DR

Will I Get Early Access For Pottermore?

Question by Kylie J: Will I Get Early Access For Pottermore?
I answered the question on Day 6 for The Magical Quill on Pottermore. I filled out all my info but I never got the validation email. I read that if you didnt get the email then you’ll have to register again but when I tried to log in and pressed “Forgot your username” and it sent it to me on my email so apparently they have my details. Will I still get the early access email ?

If you never got the validation E-mail, then most likely not. Them merely having your info doesn’t mean much. Sorry.

You have to go awhile at first. Look around for things, collect them and use the arrows to move through chapters. Sometimes you have to find certain things before you can go.

If you need help, type: Pottermore walkthrough in yahoo’s search engine.

On Pottermore I got sorted into Ravenclaw, but on HEXRPG, I got sorted into Grfyffindor?

Question by Anonymous.: On Pottermore I got sorted into Ravenclaw, but on HEXRPG, I got sorted into Grfyffindor?
Which one would be more accurate? Because for Pottermore I just answered questions, whereas on Hogwarts Extreme RPG they had me write out a bunch of things about me and reviewed it and put me in a house. So which would be more accurate?

Pottermore is sanctioned by JK Rowling, so the site’s algorithm for determining house placement is the most accurate. However, some of the other sorting hat tests on the internet connect to personality exams, so your responses may have triggered a correct representation of you. It’s all in fun, so whatever house YOU feel that you belong in is the correct one.

Unfortunately, if you’d rather be a Gryffindor, Pottermore doesn’t let you change your house so enjoy playing both roles.

Hope this helps.

Q&A: How to get over an obsession?

Question by max: How to get over an obsession?
I mean books and movies! i get to emotionally attached to them (characters) and then i start googling them, looking up their wiki, google the actors. It goes away after a few months but then if i re-read the book/movie or hear someone talk about it, i go straight back into it. ie HP finished so I signed up for pottermore and looked up characters, now im doing the same thing with the Hunger Games. This is probably a yahoo fail but its bloody annoying and i tell myself to harden up but i cant!!!

There is no escaping a love so deep such as the one with you and HP.

Getting into a relationship is dangerous just like starting to get into something awesome like HP or the Hunger games. Once you’re in, it’s hard to get out.
You have to accept that your obsession will never cease.
Trying to make yourself hate it doesn’t work, as I have tried that method and came back to it anyway.

I suggest you try to distance yourself from situations that could danger you in retreating back to your obsession in a very aggressive stage.

The more different types of things to obsess over however, the better. This is because you won’t be basing your entire world over a single obsession thus causing you to live in that world and begin to fail to determine the difference between the fantasy HP or Hunger Game world you have created and reality. It more difficult for this to happen if you are interested in several things. I suggest you start reading more series and as I said earlier, distance yourself from your current obsessions.

Or you could be like me and accept there is no real cure and live in a never ending Potter-filled world constructed of repetitive reading and watching HP, starkid, pottermore and fanfiction.
